John and I met in the summer of 1998, working for a national real estate development company in Utah! We were developing a $290M, 3,800-acre, mixed-use, mountain master-planned community, high in the Traverse Mountains! It was SPECTACULAR, with the highest point on the property at an elevation of just over 6,500′!

John was the Director of Engineering, and I was Assistant to the Director of Marketing – giving us the valuable experience we draw on to this day, building our photography business! We eventually married 5 years later, in 2003, and have been together ever since!

We have 3 children together – with a BIG family of 9 children (ages 33 down to 5), when you consider Yours, Mine, and Ours! So far, we are lacking a photo that includes all 9 of our children… go figure!

John has 4 children from a previous marriage. Of those, Ross and Gena live in the SLC, Utah area. Ross will be got married in 2024, but we were still unable to get all of our children at the wedding for a family photo! Haley lives in Wyoming, and Max lives in Reno, Nevada.

I have 2 children from a previous marriage. My oldest, Aleata, got married on April 1st, 2023, and lives just up the street from us! We wanted to get an updated family photo of all of us at her wedding, but unfortunately, not all of our children were able to attend her wedding either! My oldest son, Austin also lives in the SLC, Utah area.

John and I have 3 children together – Noah, Karlie, and Kace. These 3 children still live with us at home.

This totals 9 children – 4 girls and 5 boys! Born over almost 30 years, it has been a long and enjoyable ride! We have been, and continue to be blessed, for sure!

We LOVE our children! They certainly keep us active and entertained!

Since John and I met working together, it was a natural evolution for us to continue working that way in our photography business when real estate development and residential home construction abruptly stopped during the recession of 2008! By the time land development in our area had revived, we were too far along on our new photography adventure in life to look back – and here we are!

We have done over 3,000 photo shoots and 20 weddings together over the past 16 years! We work gently and seamlessly as a team in our private, home studio. Our top goals are your baby’s safety and your complete enthusiasm for our work!
